We are conducting a Presbytery Pool trial to address some of the barriers which get in the way of leaders accepting part-time roles within the Presbytery. The Pool seeks to make it easier for our congregations to match up with lay and ordained leaders.
In the Pool the employment / placement relationship will move from the Congregation to the Presbytery.
The Presbytery is in the process of appointing a Project Officer: Pool Trial who will facilitate the project works for congregations. We hope to announce the successful candidate in July 2023.

Your participation
If your congregation is considering joining the Pool then please let Lawrie or Peter know. We will arrange a visit to your church council to answer any questions so your council is in a position to form a view about participating in this trial.
